Apple Watch Not Syncing
Watch sync was rebuilt in version 3.5.x, so update first if you're on an older version. Then try these steps:
Step 1: Force-Quit the Watch App
If a barcode won't display, double-press the Digital Crown, swipe up on SuperCards to close it, then reopen it. This fixes most watch display issues.
Step 2: Check Requirements
Make sure you meet the minimum requirements:
- Apple Watch: watchOS 9.6 or later
- iPhone: SuperCards installed on paired iPhone
- Connection: Watch and iPhone must be connected (check Bluetooth)
Step 3: Restart Both Devices
Restart Apple Watch:
Press and hold the side button until "Power Off" appears, drag the slider to turn off, wait 10 seconds, press and hold the side button again to turn on.
Restart iPhone:
Power off your iPhone completely, wait 10 seconds, power back on.
Step 4: Reopen SuperCards on Both Devices
Open SuperCards on your iPhone first (this ensures latest data is ready), then open SuperCards on your Apple Watch. Wait a few moments for cards to sync.
Step 5: Check Watch Connection
On your iPhone, open the Watch app, make sure your watch is connected (green checkmark at top), check that Bluetooth is enabled on both devices.
Step 6: Reinstall SuperCards on Apple Watch
If syncing still doesn't work, remove and reinstall the watch app:
- On your iPhone, open the Watch app
- Scroll down and find SuperCards
- Toggle "Show App on Apple Watch" OFF
- Wait 10 seconds
- Toggle "Show App on Apple Watch" ON
- Wait for installation to complete
- Open SuperCards on your watch
Still Not Working?
Email support@supercardsapp.com with your watchOS version, iOS version, and SuperCards app version.
Note: Keeping both devices on the latest SuperCards and OS versions clears up most sync issues.
