When Does Data Leave My Device?

SuperCards keeps your data on your device by default. Data only leaves your device in these specific cases:

1. QR Code Backup
When: You create a QR code backup
What: All your cards, labels, notes, photos (encrypted)
Security: End-to-end encrypted
Important: Enabling Anonymous Mode deletes any server-side backup data, making existing backup links/QR codes useless.

2. System Backups
iOS (iCloud Backup): When automatic iCloud backups occur (if enabled in iOS settings). Your SuperCards data goes to Apple's iCloud servers. Controlled by Apple, not SuperCards. Uses Apple's encryption standards.

Android (Google Backup): When automatic Google backups occur (if enabled in Android settings). Your SuperCards data goes to Google's servers. Controlled by Google, not SuperCards. Uses Google's encryption standards.

Note: SuperCards doesn't control system backups: they're managed by Apple/Google.
